Pavan recently joined Aramark as Chief AI Officer, leading innovation in data and AI. Prior to Aramark, Pavan served as Chief Data Officer at IBM Watson, responsible for making Watson smarter. He began his career as a banker at JP Morgan, then founded six tech startups which eventually led him to venture capital. 

Pavan spends his spare time investing in technology start-ups and advising existing cutting-edge tech companies on growth strategies. He also serves as an innovation advisor to hedge funds, the World Bank and others on monetizing data with new technology. Pavan graduated from Johns Hopkins University and the London School of Economics.

Prior to joining MSC in 2008, Steve served as Senior Vice President of Sales and Managed Services for Adecco where he was responsible for leading global sales with focus on enterprise engagements and managed services strategy and execution. Previously, he held various executive positions at global electronics distributor Arrow Electronics.

Robert Befidi

Robert is Vice President of Global Solutions, for the Medical Solutions Division and leads global marketing for the 3M Health Care Business Group. Prior to this role, he led strategy and business development for the group and previously led strategic business development for the 3M Health Information Systems Division.

 

Prior to 3M, he led strategy and investment consulting for clients in the finance, technology, healthcare, energy and services sectors at Kibora. Prior to Kibora, he co-founded Gordian Capital, a buyout firm where he led capital raising, deal origination, transaction structuring and execution. While there, he served as Chief Executive Officer of an HR BPO portfolio company. Prior to Gordian Capital, Robert worked at a number of firms, including Circle Capital, Piper Jaffray and UnitedHealth Group.

 

Robert is a Director on the Minnesota Children’s Museum Board and President of the Wharton Club of Minnesota.

 

He holds an MBA with Honors in Finance, Marketing and Operations Management from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, an MS in Software Engineering from the University of Minnesota and a BS Summa Cum Laude in Computer Science from Winona State University.

Since inception, Drill Spot has generated over $100M in sales on Amazon.com. Due to the success of his startup, in 2010 Mr. Lin was named one of Inc. Magazine’s Top 10 Asian Entrepreneurs. Mr. Lin also serves on the Board of Directors and is the IT Chairman for RBB Bancorp, a NASDAQ traded community bank with over $2B in assets. Mr. Lin attended the University of Colorado in Boulder and studied Information Systems. In his spare time, he designs technology products and currently has ten issued design patents. 

Michael Ali

Dr. Michael Ali is the Chief Digital and Information Officer for Omega Engineering, a Norwalk-based global manufacturer and distributor of sensing devices and systems. As part of a digital transformation strategy, Omega is designing, building, and deploying new platforms for eCommerce, CRM, and product information management, and business intelligence.

Dr. Ali is responsible for master data management, Industrial Internet of Things strategy and cloud implementation, and IT infrastructure and applications. Previously, he served as the CIO for W.W. Grainger, a $10B distributor of MRO products. During his tenure at Grainger, he championed the application of deep-layer neural networks to upgrade and replace the product substitution engine on the corporate website, and led an effort to define a new information architecture for customer information using semantic metadata.

Prior to Grainger, he was the Sr. VP of Application Development and Program Management for US Foods. In this role, he developed an architecture and strategy for a new eCommerce platform and led a business intelligence (BI) initiative requested by the CEO to address pain points around data reporting discrepancies and lack of BI sandboxes for business use. Prior to US Foods, he served as the CIO for Harman, where he installed new platforms for eCommerce, PLM, and ERP. Prior to Harman, he was the CIO for Jaguar and Land Rover (JLR). Prior to joining JLR, he held management and engineering positions in Ford, GE, NASA, and NIST.

Ajay Kamble

Ajay Kamble is the CIO at Turtle & Hughes and plays a leading role in transforming the business through innovative digital technologies.  With over 20 years of experience in manufacturing and supply chain, Ajay’s passion is to onboard the perfect mix of human centric designs and technologies to simplify complex issues and help solve tomorrow’s problems.

Through adaptive change management, he has helped several organizations get through difficult technology deployments and continues to use this perspective in digitizing every functional area within Turtle.  He also serves on the board of the supply chain program at Fairleigh Dickinson University. Prior to Turtle, Ajay has held several leadership roles, more recently as a VP of IT at Masco, a manufacturing conglomerate.

Prior to Buyers, Jim worked for ERICO in the US and The Netherlands, at various points leading IT, Business Intelligence, Supply Planning, and Warehouse Operations. Long ago, he received engineering degrees from Purdue and an MBA from Case Western. The TSQL procedures he writes are elegant and well-commented.

Darren Taylor

 Mr. Taylor joined MORSCO in January 2015 as the Chief Marketing Officer. From 2011 to 2015, he served as Vice President of eCommerce for Sonepar USA, leading the growth of the Company’s $800+ million eCommerce channel. Mr. Taylor also served on Sonepar's Global eBusiness Steering Committee. 

In 2001, Mr. Taylor started in Grainger's Leadership Development Program and held various positions until 2010 including Branch Manager, Director of Supply Chain Systems, Director of Supply Chain Strategy, Quality & Business Intelligence, and Director of eCommerce Strategy & Integration.  He founded and led PlayHear.com Network, LLC from 1998 to 2001, as well as held various finance and IT positions at MMI Companies as it aquired a dozen companies and went public.

Prakash Muthukrishnan

Prakash Muthukrishnan is Chief Technology Officer for Purchasing Power, LLC, a newly created position he was promoted to in January 2017. His current responsibilities will include overseeing eCommerce Platform and User Experience, Product Management, Technology Development, Delivery and IT Operations. Muthukrishnan is based in Atlanta and reports directly to Purchasing Power CEO Richard Carrano.

Previously, Muthukrishnan served as Chief Information Officer, which he was appointed to in 2014. Muthukrishnan joined the company in 2013 to assume responsibility for defining the company’s technology strategy, leading all IT efforts in executing strategic business initiatives, building the company’s e-commerce website and managing IT operations. Within two years, Muthukrishnan was credited for developing Purchasing Power’s award-winning mobile website and app, a strategic initiative that now accounts for more than 50% of gross customer sales and won the company a Bronze Stevie Award in 2015. Additionally, under his leadership, his team won the SAP Hybris North America Success Story of the Year award in 2016.

Prior to Purchasing Power, Muthukrishnan worked in leadership roles for a variety of companies, including Manhattan Associates where he served three years as senior director of technology strategy, and Blockbuster, Inc., working as senior director, enterprise architecture. At each assignment, Muthukrishnan demonstrated a strong background in supply chain, e-commerce, mobile and retail technologies, as well as a solid vision for IT solutions.

Muthukrishnan received his bachelor of science degree in computer science from the College of Engineering at Guindy, India. He subsequently earned his master of science degree in computer science from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. A US Patent holder, , he also received a certification in IT Leadership from the Leavey School of Business at Santa Clara University in Northern California.

A former member of the MIS Industry Advisory Board at the University of Texas in Dallas, Muthukrishnan also is a 2015 ATP Innovation Award winner, recognizing visionary entrepreneurs, advanced technology innovations and outstanding enterprise applications. Furthermore, he is writer and speaker, regularly providing bylined articles for industry trade magazines and newsletters, as well as business presentations for professional conferences and summits around the country.


Paul Shrater

Entrepreneur Paul Shrater co-founded Minimus.biz, the consumer products e-commerce startup in 2004. Shrater grew Minimus.biz to be ranked in Internet Retailer’s Top 1000 highest grossing B2C e-commerce businesses in the U.S., and top 300 in their B2B ranking. Minimus has received several awards for customer service, and has grown expansion divisions in the promotional products industry and third party logistics services for other brands (MinimusFulfillment.biz).  

As part of that expansion, in 2011, Shrater was named to the promotional products industry magazine’s Hot 40 list of innovators to watch in the industry; and growth in the 3PL division includes working with brands and celebrity clients in: food, beauty, apparel, and electronics.  

In 2008, Shrater launched Minimus Products (MinimusProducts.biz), an organic and kosher certified contract packaging company that provides both food and non-food packaging services to numerous brands via its own facilities and equipment.  It has capabilities to package liquids, powders, and particulates into packets, bottles, jars, bags, cans, tubes, and more. 

Expanding further in 2017, Shrater opened a marketing consulting department at Minimus to further work with its clients, and partnered in The Karma Accelerator to provide additional infrastructure and financial support to growing consumer product brands.

Prior to his career as an entrepreneur, Shrater was a film and television producer and writer developing projects with various major studios, networks, and production companies. 
Shrater is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania’s acclaimed Wharton School.

He has spoken at several conferences and guest lectured at universities on topics such as: e-commerce, supply chain management, and change management.  He authors a blog for the Wharton Magazine, and has been adjunct faculty at California Lutheran University, where he taught an experiential class in integrated marketing communications.  He has also appeared on such networks as CNBC, and been quoted in such publications as Forbes and USA Today.  


Liz Dozier

He also served as the VP of eCommerce and Digital, leading Digital Marketing & Merchandising efforts for Grainger. Diane Hund

Diane has spent over twenty years in the marketing arena, working in both business-to-business and business-to-consumer environments. She is currently the SVP of Marketing for US Foods, where she leads the marketing, eCommerce and digital efforts for the company.  Most recently, she led the marketing efforts for Essendant’s Business and Facility Essentials Division and led the rebranding of the organization.  Previously, she has held marketing leadership positions at a variety of companies including Rust-Oleum, Boise (Office Max), Danaher and Ball Horticultural (Burpee Seeds).

While her experience has provided her with a solid skill set in strategic marketing, digital, branding, research, media and communications, her marketing passion focuses on working closely with customers to uncover unmet needs and then creating/repositioning the right products, services or solutions to meet those needs. Linda Brunner

Linda has held positions of increasing scope at Siemens for over 10 years.  She was with Bayer Healthcare Diagnostics prior to the Siemens’ acquisition.  Linda was formerly Director, Perkin Elmer Instruments, where she directed a staff of Marketing and Product Managers responsible for strategic direction, product development, marketing, and global commercialization of several product lines and platforms.

Linda started her career as a Research Scientist performing Pharmacokinetics and Drug Metabolism R&D at Pfizer, Ciba-Geigy and Novartis. Linda has authored more than 15 scientific publications, served on the editorial board of J Chrom/Biomed Appl; and, received a Pioneer in Laboratory Automation award.  She was on the DXMA Board of Directors for 5 years, including Vice President, Interactive Initiatives. She co-chairs the ANA/BMA B2B Committee in NY.  Linda is married, the proud mom of 2 teenage boys, and lives in Pleasantville, NY.

Her 25-year run at Schneider Electric began when she responded to an ad in the Chicago Tribune for a copywriter for the Square D Company. Schneider Electric purchased Square D in 1991 and over time Vicki has served as a speech writer, business communications manager, marketing segment manager, distributor account manager, inventory manager, operations director, and currently, VP of Marketing for the U.S. Power division of Schneider Electric. 

Today, Vicki and her team work closely with the commercial and residential teams to promote an unparalleled offer of electric equipment and energy management solutions for homes, businesses, buildings, hospitals and facilities. This includes the industry-leading EcoStruxure architecture, of which Vicki’s team markets "EcoStruxure Power" - one of six architectures offered by Schneider Electric to bring IoT technology to life.

Shalin Shah

Since joining Parts Town 5 years ago Michael and the Parts Town team have grown ecommerce revenue more than 600% by focusing on company culture and delivering industry-first innovations that solve hard customer problems.

Prior to Parts Town Michael was responsible for UX, product management and digital marketing for B2C children’s retailer One Step Ahead. He also held senior product management roles at Orbitz Worldwide, helping to develop and execute their mobile strategy.
