Carmen True

Carmen True is vice president, Marketing for Qualcomm, based out of San Diego, California. She is responsible for channel marketing across Retail, Indirect, Commercial, Enterprise, and Education. She manages the Sales and Ecosystem Enablement teams for Product and Technology Training, as well as for Qualcomm’s Partner and Developer communities. Prior to Qualcomm, Carmen was vice president, Print Marketing and Go to Market for HP, based out of Portland, Oregon. There, she handled strategic marketing for HP’s $40-billion Print business with the responsibility to drive performance of strategic growth programs, including HP’s Ink Subscription business and the then-new3 go-to-market model for the HP+ Smart Printing Ecosystem. She held additional previous HP leadership roles within Digital Enablement and Experience and Marketing Innovation. Before HP, Carmen began her career and worked over ten years with Hewlett-Packard before the company’s split. She began her tenure there as global supplier manager and rose through leadership roles to senior director of Strategy and Capabilities for Digital User Experience & Platforms. Carmen received a Bachelor of Science in finance from the University of Utah’s David Eccles School of Business. She went on to earn a Master of Business Administration at George Fox University.
