Merri Lazenby, RN, MSN/MBA, has over 30 years of diverse and progressive healthcare experience and leadership. Merri has held roles as a nursing assistant, critical care and emergency department staff nurse, educator and engagement coach – relentlessly pursuing exceptional outcomes and experiences for patients, families, staff members and physicians. She currently serves the Patients First mission at Northwestern Medicine as the Director of Human Resources, leading the Engagement Coaching and HR Business Partner Teams in the North and Northwest Regions of the Northwestern Medicine Network.

Merri is married to a retired firefighter/paramedic and has three amazing children.
