Peggy Greco has worked in healthcare for over 30 years as a clinician, researcher, clinical leader and, most recently, as enterprisewide medical director of patient experience for Nemours Children’s Health. In this role, she has focused on the development and implementation of innovative strategic approaches and comprehensive interventions designed to fully engage medical providers, staff, patients and their families in the process of improving the healthcare experience. She also leads patient-focused efforts to decrease disparities in care and attain true health equity. Dr. Greco earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Emory University and her doctorate from the University of Miami. She completed her internship at the University of North Carolina–Chapel Hill and a postdoctoral fellowship at Nemours Children’s Health. She is the proud mother of three adult children, Alexander, age 24, Anna, age 20, and Emma, age 18, and runs and kayaks in her spare time.
